Adam Montgomery Wiki – Adam Montgomery Bio
Adam Montgomery has been charged with second-degree murder after he was arrested in January on second-degree assault charges following the disappearance of his daughter Harmony Montgomery. During a briefing in New Hampshire state court on October 24, Montgomery was charged by New Hampshire Attorney General John Formella. Formella accused Montgomery of “causing the death of his daughter by repeatedly hitting Harmony in the head with a clenched fist” at her Manchester home in 2019.
The girl who was 5 years old when she disappeared was declared dead after authorities were unable to find her body more than three years after her disappearance. In August of this year, after nearly eight months of investigation by various state, county, and federal law enforcement agencies, Harmony was pronounced dead based on numerous leads, including “biological evidence.”
Adam Montgomery’s age is unknown.
Killed Daughter Harmony by Repeatedly Striking
Harmony, a 5-year-old partially blind girl, went missing in 2019, however, her disappearance was not reported until two years later. The case shocked many people and the investigation took turns after a homicide case was declared. Authorities said they believed Harmony was killed in Manchester in early December 2019 without elaborating.
The revelation was made by investigating authorities after the FBI raided Montgomery’s residence looking for evidence.
According to the Daily Mail, AG Formella said at a press conference on Monday, October 24: “We understand that today’s news, while important for the purposes of this investigation, is another difficult time for those who loved Harmony and those who have followed this case”. .” Formella also added that Montgomery would be indicted on more charges on Tuesday. The charges mentioned included falsifying physical evidence, abuse of a corpse, and witness tampering.
Harmony used to live with her adoptive parents Adam Montgomery and Kayla Montgomery after her mother Crystal Sorey lost custody due to substance abuse. Kayla, 32, was declared a fugitive on September 8 after failing to appear in court for a hearing about her long-missing daughter. She allegedly lied to the state Department of Health that Harmony was still in her care and faces charges for it. Adam had been in jail since January and had also lost custody of his daughter for endangering her welfare. It was only after months of investigation that authorities revealed one after another the heartbreaking truth behind the girl’s disappearance.
Additionally, in April, Adam was indicted on other charges including stealing a rifle and shotgun before Harmony went missing.
